Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who came out to
Sickness/Recovery.
We hope everyone had a good time. For the info of people who would like
to know, we had roughly 2500 people!
We would also like to extend our apologies to those who tried to listen
to the event via the proposed realaudio broadcast. As many of you
already know, in the end, there was no broadcast. This was because the
actual location of the party had to be changed only days before the
event. The final cornfield location was far to remote for the cellular
backup plan, and we didn't have enough time to drop in the special phone
lines that had been ready to go at the original location. Another of
our backup plans was to record the show onto Dat, and then rebroadcast
apx. 10 hours later. This plan was also foiled because of the location,
due to the huge amounts of dirt and dust that our Dat player didn't
appreciate. I'm sure that the digital crowd out there are as
disappointed as us, but we'll be planning other events using Realaudio
in the coming months, so keep your eyes and ears open.
